The condition was not so good on the days of Dec. 26 & 27.
I saw a weak Es on the ionogram in the morning on the both day.
On Dec. 26, a strong Es (BY-FMs) is reported in JA1.
On Dec. 27, I heard 49.75. Was it F2, or Es?
On Dec. 25, BY-FMs were reported in JA1.
It is known in JA that Es often occurs in
(1) around Christmas day,
(2) around Dec 30--Jan 3 (not good these years),
(3) and around St. Valentine's Day (discovered recently
with a observation to 6m and the ionograms).
