A List of Experimental Stations in Japan between 30--50MHz

Here is a table of the experimental stations shown in the Japanese Radio Stations License Search as of 26 Sep 2009. Note that some type stations are in secret, not listed on the Search.

I want to make a table of all stations but it is a quite tough job. Most stations other than these experimental stations in this band are opereted in low power (not more than 50 watts).

MHz

Linked to their license pages (in Japanese). Please read them with translation services like BABEL FISH. If you use BABEL FISH: In the `Classification of radio station' column, the word `bureau' is a wrong translation for `station'; In the `Date of license' column, for example, `Flat 21' is a wrong translation for `H.21' which means `the 21st year of the Heisei era'. Add 1988 to it --- H.21 + 1988 = A.D.2009.

Mode

Type of emission. `2M40P0N' means P0N which is its bandwidth = 2.40MHz.

Callsign

If this column is empty (or *****), it means that the callsign column in the search result is empty (or *****).

QTH

Linked to the google maps. Most of them are linked to the place of city hall, not to its actual QTH. `JA1' means Japanese amateur radio station's number 1 area (professional stations use different numbers). For the detail of Japanese area numbers and prefectures, refer to my JA map page.
